    Same as pumping brakes while bleeding...pump the clutch. Of course its a 2 person operation. Otherwise gravity

    Yes. That is the gravity method.

    The other way is with a helper and is similar to the brakes, except it will not come back up off the floor after cracking the bleeder.

    LoL! I got this done as soon as I could figure it the fuck out. But you are right, I did enjoy getting my daughter in the garage to help me out even if it was just for 10min.

    A couple months back I was setting the valves on my bike, so I had a good bit of the motor exposed. We discussed suck, squeeze, bang, and blow for 2hrs.

    I hear ya. Although I originally read that as ~30 minutes, not -30 deg! I guess I have no excuses then! I guess it is only supposed to be 115* this weekend. :rofl:

    It will be cooler in the shade under the Taco. Just do it on a cold motor. No hot cat to mess near.

    Oh no not me, i waited til May. But i remember the day he came and picked it up at my place. If was unmercifully cold...then i find out he did it when he got home...on his back, in the driveway.

    Prolly left the truck running to get heat from exhaust lol

    :rofl::rofl:

    When I did the first check of the area and pulled the heat shield, it was on a partially warmed up motor. I was surprised how much heat from the motor transferred to the transmission. Aluminum is neat stuff.

    I wanted it dead nuts cold for the install, esp as I was in there for over an hour trying to get that brake line elbow to fit and be restrained to the plate.
