5100 and oldman emu spring

what clip is the best to use with the oldman emu 2885 spring to have a comfortable ride?? I ordered the emu to replace my stock one with this. I have 5100 on the highest clip for ground clearance on my truck right now with the stock spring and the right is stiff. So my plan is to drop the setting to the 3rd clip instead of the highest. Any advice would be helpful

 

5100's should be used on the lowest 0 setting with OME Springs. 885's gave me 2.5" a little less on the driver side. Your ride will become stiffer at anything other than 0 setting and you'll have less down travel with the 5100's if you go to a higher setting.

 

Yea man I’ve got 5100s with the ome885’s on the lowest setting. Have steel bumper and winch, still just over 2 inches of lift. Def needs to be set on the lowest settings

 

That's good to hear, I have the C4 hybrid on the way and wont be running a winch. Was wondering how much sag ill get. I've got 1/2" Spacers ready to go in if needed. Your bumper looks heavy.

 

Oh yea you’ll be fine. The arb is probably the heaviest bumper you can get and it’s fine, I don’t regret not going 886. The ride is still pretty harsh sometimes, I’m definitely getting something with reservoirs when these wear out

 

Awesome thanks. I'm not using any modifications on my bumper so no weight will be adding. I'm mainly going for grown clearance so if I could get 3" lift and a not so stiff ill be happy.

 

My 885's feel pretty stiff, they're still new so i expect it to soften up especially with a bumper. But my factory shocks were blown out when i replaced them and the old spacer lift. I'm pretty happy with the results though.
