Hear is a test.i just.did.
Motomaster air compressor
20psi to 45 psi in 8 minutes and it's hot.

 

This is the set up.

 

Just for reference, my ARB twin does my 255/80/17's from 15PSI to 36PSI in about 1 minute.

Less than 5 minutes for all 4 tires to full pressure.

 

Dont know if I can swing over 800 on an arb.
That's like a portable generator and 120v compressor.

 

My time is money, so it has paid for itself over and over and over

I am running at 29psi daily my tires for over 60K now, it's e-load, do the meth

 

Do you daily drive at 45 psi or just did it for testing the compressor? Some designs struggle exponentially at higher pressures (e.g. it may take twice as long to go 30-45 psi as it did 0-30 psi).

 

Guy at tire shop said 45psi to get max milage from them. So yes daily driving at 45 psi.

Another thing to research.....

Other trucks I have had with 35's I ran them at 30psi.

But.for some.reason this tacoma thing has got me by the ......'s

 

Probably the same guy at tire shop that asks "Manual or Auto?" when you ask for a clutch kit as well.

well you have the experience, cant argue with that. I'll drop them down to 30 as see how they feel.

Something is getting installed very very soon, going to be first turd gen to try this one on.

 

Comes stock with 35s and 4.77 gears...

 

Other thing to do is remove leafs completely and just cycle the rear end to ensure you don’t bottom out the shock. I find the issue is ensuring the leafs don’t invert so I have to mainly set my bumps for that.

gm bumpstops are an easy and cheap alternative. Also very adjustable (to about an inch or so)

34s And expect to pay Ford Raptor money for that trim level.

 

I am already in a Ford Raptor territory with everything I've done to my truck

 

You would still need to spend extra for bumpers, sliders, and skids with that "Bronco Raptor".
