Gonna be installing this Federal Signal SmartSiren controller in my headliner so I can control a bunch of aux lights and accessories. The main box has five relays I can hook up to things good for 20-30 amps each. The slide switch and other buttons are good for about ~10 amp low amperage accessories. You can program this to do anything you’d like.

This thing is a Switch Pro on crack basically.

I looked at it again this morning it's clear. I am going to remove the tire mounts for the spare just to clean it up underneath. Once I get my new leafs setup it will take care of the down travel on the shocks.

They’re actually going bye bye when the leafs are here... I don’t have anything else to really hold up the frame right now. Those little craftsmen stands are.. yea.

    Its more than just jumping.

That sounds like a lot more work than just reinforcing some coil buckets.

I know. I was being facetious.

I’ve wheeled with Viking Brett. I’ve read his trip reports, I’ve known his style for years. He beats the snot out of his truck.

True, but if I was worried about effort involved, I would be driving a brand new pickup every other year.

Motor is $3,400 and install was $1,600. Plus some small stuff like break in oil, spark plugs, etc. But you also get a brand new water pump and timing belt kit included in that price

Just to confirm - it's a "rebuild" correct? Not a JDM motor?

My rebuilt engine was done by Yodaman in Santa Rosa, CA for about ~$7k installed. Dropped off the truck and picked it up with the fresh engine a few weeks later.

24k mile, 24 month warranty for absolutely any leak at all, which I took advantage of when there was a little oil weeping from the valve cover at 23 months...

OEM block from another truck, reusing parts from my truck, but new:
    rings
    heads
    head gasket
    studs
    water pump
    thermostat
    radiator
    hoses
    belts
    spark plugs
    knock sensor
    etc etc.
