Sounds like insurance fraud, reversed. Might want to report this to the states insurance regulatory board. I'd go do far as to report it to Maura Healey's office.
That is such bs on their part. It'd be interesting if the AG's office took this. You know your not the first person they've done this to...

Done and done. Healey passed it on to the DOI, and the DOI didn't do anything... Lol. Big insurance companies seem to have the DOI in their pocket. They were past due on sending me their findings and then the pandemic hit and even though I pestered them I'm sure they used the pandemic as a convenient excuse to forget the whole thing.

AAA and USAA are both excellent insurance companies.

F that... Have you called your state rep?
If we tried what they tried, we'd be strung up...
I just looked, that insurance company is on FB. Call them out on there and tag them. Have your friends share it. Their friends share it. etc...

You could very well put a dent in their bottom line if it goes viral.

I say it's not totalled. I only say that because I had a 2010 Toyota tacoma at the time me and my wife were stopped at a light and got rear ended and my bumper looked just liked that. I took it to the dealership for repairs and did a great job fixing it and they even put it on the frame machine and after it was fixed I never had a issue with repair

Not sure why your insurance would go up after the accident. It only goes up with my insurance if your the cause of the accident. But maybe its different where you are. I'm in Texas. But not all insurance companies are alike
