Busy Sunday! Helped wifey clearing/cleaning up in front of the house, actually used my hi-lift to rip out some shrubs.
Did a few things in the truck too, including re-fabricating hi-lift bracket to move things around. Also finally got around to install my new-to-me TRD exhaust I got from @RobP69 :D
    IMG_20200607_4810.jpg
    Sounds sweet! Thanks Rob!

And also installed a decal from @Doublecross
    IMG_20200607_54535.jpg
    Thanks Rob!

Anyone in here live in NY by the Finger Lakes or have ridden mountain bike trails up there that way? Anything parks worth stopping at or hitting?

Hey y'all. I'm native to Seattle however i'll be spending the summer in upstate NY, near Lake Placid. I'm planning to pull the trigger on a hybrid front bumper and want to have it installed while i'm up there. I'm looking for shop recommendations to do the bumper install along with some suspension work. Does anyone have recommendations on a shop in the broader NE area that does good work / has plenty of experience installing bumpers? I'm willing to drive a ways if needed.

    Thanks in advance.

I don’t think there’s any place around here. Probably Albany or Vermont are your best bets.

You might want to post in the Vermont thread:

I live in the Finger Lakes, just south of Geneva, NY. I don’t know of any mountain bike trails but can look into it as I am interested as well.

Thanks man just got back from a great trip up there. Check out Shindagin Hollow State Forest, that place was sick. Also heard Erwin Wildlife Reserve is good too.

Do you have the Trail Forks app? You can look on a map of that area and see what trails are listed.

I checked the map- Bear Swamp State Forest, Finger Lakes Nat Forest, Erwin Wildlife Management Area, Hammond Hill State Forest, Shindagin Hollow State Forest, Harriet Hollister Spencer Recreation Area, Plus many parks around Syracuse have mountain bike trails.

Finger Lakes is a pretty big area but check out GROC (mygroc.com) they have built some of the better trails in the Finger Lakes IMO.

Ontario County Park North of Naples has a great mix and some good downs with lung burning climbs. Or go north to Rochester and hit Tryon Park then ride that over to Irondequoit Bay Park West. Good mix and well built. Those are the places I usually ride out that way.

Shindagin Hollow near Ithaca is awesome and Skytop in Syracuse (for the eastern front) is pretty gnarly.

Hey everyone, I just picked up a new DCSB OR and figured I'd pop in and say hello to my fellow New Yorkers :) I live in the lower Hudson Valley but me and my girlfriend aren't above taking a drive for a nice view and was wondering if there were places I could use my sick new truck to access haha. I saw prattsville mentioned (we've visited pratt rock and kaaterskill falls for that matter), anything out in the Catskills would be much appreciated!
