Recently my truck began shaking very bad... I thought it was due to severely cupped MTs that I’d just rotated. This was at any speed honestly.

Since then I’ve replaced both axles, all ball joints, etc. new tires, alignment, blah blah.

now it rides just fine cruising back roads but if I get above 60mph the rattle comes back. Anyone know where to start?

New tires but have you checked if your wheels are warped?

Do you get the shaking on every road above 60mph?? Does it go away as you keep speeding up??

Sometimes it is stacked tolerance of every rotating part just vibrate at a certain rpm or speed

I have been on sections of road that look fine it feels like the wheels are about to fall off

The first few times I pulled over thinking I was about to have a major failure

You changed ball joints but how do the bushings in the control arms look and feel? If they're worn out the stacked tolerances @Wyoming09 mentioned would translate into the frame more readily and could cause vibrations

I got mine up to 95 somehow and it felt like a dream driving. I’m not sure how I didn’t die or break anything

I did 101 and it also felt pretty good at that speed.

Yeah I don’t know why, I’ve been in numerous cars that shake when they go like 75+ lol

I had a bad shaking that seemed to start randomly at speeds over 60. Had tires rotated and rebalanced and replaced center bearing but it finally turned out to be my OEM rear shocks were completely shot and the wind buffeting on the tonneau would start the truck bouncing and shaking so hard I thought I would lose control. The old shocks were so beat that once the were off the truck they would slowly collapse under their own weight.

Oxford county PD friend of mine radar clocked a 96 Tacoma at 104 really nice long straight away he spent the night in jail. Don't know how it went in court but I'm guessing he was walking for a long time that's considered criminal speed.

atleast give the man a break! He was trying to go as fast as he possibly could! And 104 is pretty fast for a Tacoma on a straight away! lol!

Yeah certainly is. Heading north from Boston at 1130pm I hated doing the speed limit. Took 20 minutes on the T just to get to the parking garage, then 1.5hr drive home. I'd use the Waze app and it was better than any radar detector.

Take a look at your lower control arm bushings. Do you also have a wobble while braking? Mine did that with new rotors that were properly bedded. My bushings were torn and it had a ton of play.
