Anyone else’s Tacoma seen a little stiff/rough on bumpy roads? Mine rides great on the highway. It just seems a little stiff and rough on roads that aren’t so smooth. Also I’ve read that most Tacoma’s are known for some vibration. I’ve checked all my u-joints and the hanger/carrier bearing in the center of drive shaft and all is good. Just wanted to get some opinions.

Looks like you have a TRD Sport, I might be wrong but I believe they have stiffer suspension which would explain the nicer highway ride. I drove a sport and an off-road before I bought my SR5, all around the same age and mileage and the sport definitely had the firmest ride.

I don’t think mines a Trd Sport. I don’t have a rear diff locker on mine. It is 4wd though.

FWIW, the O/R uses a Progressive rate coil spring.
Mine seems to ride “harsh” over small bumps and pot holes.

The Sport has a Larger Swaybar, which helps in cornering.

I think the actual shocks themselves are the same.
