same here. we've had more cases in the last couple weeks than we did for all of april/may. i really expected things to scale back after the 4th but nothing yet. theyre still talkng about schools resuming as normal in the fall. city counsel is considering a mandatory mask order here. kinda hope they pass it. our cases in town are still some of the highest in the state, only another county has a beat and thats because this got into a nursing home - almost 100 cases there this week. i was in jackson, wy last week and they do have a mask rule. it was actually kinda of nice - no drama from anyone that i could see either. of course the park has different rules and almost no one on the trails had a mask. yeah, its not fun hiking in 80+ heat with a mask on but i survived.

Haircut done, no drama, appointment only, everyone masked up, temp check at the door. They pull one side at a time to do around the ears, no biggy. The mask thing is an inconvenience, but much easier than a ventilator . No Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No Service, what’s the big deal.

    My thoughts exactly!!!

I hate it personally which is why the countdown is on to move to Montana.
Then again, this is sweater weather for @Martin64 and @US Marine seems to love it.

I would love to live in SW Montana, that area is just gorgeous. That being said, never been there in winter.

We are going to be in NW Montana (Kalispell - near Glacier National Forest) and I’m going to be retired so on the really bad days I’m just gonna stay inside. I actually love the snow and cooler temperatures.

Not really this time of year. I've just learned to deal with the summer months. Don't want snow and the economy here is pretty decent. 8 months of the year the weather is pretty hard to dislike unless you're a dog sledder...people do look at you with an odd expression when you wear a hoodie in 70* weather.

When it starts pushing the 120° mark that’s just unbearable.

:rofl:I have to laugh at the hoodie comment....that exactly describes my wife.

Morning Andy :hattip:, stay indoors and out of the heat

Good Morning Chase , stay inside and stay cool

I've been living in the Desert for close to 40 years , I'm just used to the warm weather

Well I spend most my time going from ac to ac this time of year and the work day starts well before first light. My goal is to make it back to the house (or at least back to the office) before the high temp mark for the day. Days like this (115 and up) is when I hit the office early and handle paperwork and such or get "winshield time" checking areas I don’t get a chance to see when we're busy. At home, I do what I can. I haven't touched my dog cart remodel since Thursday the week before this last one. I have a little fab work to do and, even on a shaded work area with a "Porta-Cool", it's just too hot to weld and cut.

Same here if it drops below 70° the hoodie gets worn

I've been in temps of over 125° , again I'm used to it and deal with it and making sure you stay hydrated

I remember working as an underground electrician back in 1985 in Bullhead city Az . I was in a trench laying 4" conduit and it was 127° late in the afternoon

Good morning Chuck. Those are my plans! :D

I think that is where the bulk of my problem lies. I’m outside in it all day, either on stand by or loading and unloading in the back of a 7-Ton or a Crew Cab. The really hot days I will sometimes escape and go on stage for a bit of a reprieve but I find that only makes the heat worse when you go back outside.

Luckily my boss let's me alter my work schedule to deal with the weather. If I had to keep my actual schedule I'd be right there with you.

That’s good that he does that!!

Hopefully we get some cooler days or nights and you can get back to your dog cart. I enjoyed seeing the progress.

Chase .... a trick I learned many years ago to help on extreme warm weather days drinking water with lemon slices , Doing this helps you hydrate faster
