    hello TW,

I'm looking for a set of "trd pro" or blacked out headlights. I know dealerships won't let you buy anything OEM PRO without a VIN#. I've stumbled upon some decent priced sets. Has anyone bought headlights from Walmart or Amazon before? if you do please share your experience and quality of the product.

Some dealers will sell one pro stuff without a vin. Just need to call around.

if those are depo's then i've had them for a little over a year now. after a couple months, the plastic around the running lights started to peel away and separate. it doesn't affect output of the running lights but it drives me nuts knowing they're not "perfect." about a month ago i noticed whatever film there is on the headlights is starting to fade.

as far as output of the headlights itself, i don't notice a difference between OEM and these.

    +1

Around here they don't give a shit, especially with an online order, which i highly recommend.

I have put my vin in when ordering something particular to my body style or if I came up with the part numbers on my own, leaving a note that the part numbers being ordered are for but not stock on the vehicle/vin provided if they want to verify fitment.

When you look through toyotas part catalog, you'll see that every part has a model and style range list under it and it can get confusing quickly, so that's why I'll do that. It can come in handy. I've been right every time so far but eventually I'll get it wrong.

I have a pair of OEM 2019 TRD pro head lights available in Riverside County if interested. $600.00 for the pair.

Just look up a vin on autotrader. They don’t care and can’t check if it’s your truck. They just need/want one.

How about just the standard led upgrade? My sport came with led upgrade headlights and fog lights and the sticker price is $485. Bout crapped when i saw the sequential turn signal. Didn’t even know they did that.

Almost 2 years now, I am having 2 issues. First being the clear coat type peeling and the led sometimes won’t come at first. Sometimes takes a few minutes to come on for some reason.

Appreciate the info. About when did it start? Have you tried polishing them? Use any protective wax or anything?
