    Go for the Philippines manufactured 1911s. Better/ faster warranty of you come across issues (their repair facility is in Nevada) and you're not sending money to a *********************** country. The Girsan guns are good, but that's not the best firearms manufacturer in Turkey, anyways.

    The Auto Ordnance 1911s are the closest replica of original 1911s, but their build quality is pretty bad.

    When my neighbor passed a couple years ago now .. he had one made from a tank just like that.. the widow said she'd give it to me for a stupid low price.. but it's still sitting over there because I have no way to load it by myself with a 200# hog. I recall talking to @Bigdaddy4760 about ideas for a new motor/drive for it.. I have some pictures of it if you want to see it?

    Then go for the Girsan in 9mm. I think Citadel (made in the Philippines) is in that price range, too.

    For magazines, buy a few Wilson Combat ETM or Tripp Cobra 9mm magazines.
