I know a lot of people are still struggling with COVID lay offs and whatnot.

If any of you guys are looking for jobs, my company is looking for a Mortgage Specialist and an HR Rep. PM me your email address if you are qualified and interested (or know someone). Main office is located in Norcross.

    Hi all,

I'm in MD, so posting here to see if I can get some help with transport from the Southeast. Working out a deal to buy some 1st gen rock sliders from @rybern (he's in AL)--Weight is 105 lbs, package would be 6" x 16" x 82"

Timing is flexible on my end--no rush, but preferably line something up by end of July.

Anyone happening to be planning to travel part way or all the way from approximately Knoxville area (or points south if possible) to approximately D.C. area (or points north if possible)? Anyone able to "lend a bed"?

Any recommendations on good jack stands (preferably 6+ton) that don’t break the bank? Or break when in use.

I had the now recalled harbor freight variety if that tells you what I think is economical. Worked fine for me, clearly not for others...

Anyway, it’s tire rotation time so looking to replace the recalled set.

We have the ones from Home Depot, it came in as a set with two stands a floor jack, but the stands are available separately I believe. I use them for the F150 with tire rotations/brakes, no complaints yet.

This may sound crazy or obvious....

In my opinion I think the most important part is to get one with a safety pin. I got some that are old as hell not sure of the brand probably came from sears 30 years or more ago. I have some ratcheting ones like the recalled HF (but a different brand that wasn’t recalled ...yet) I will only use those in tandem with the ones with pins.

    What up turkeys!

If I built out a cool little trailer, would you guys have any interest in renting it on occasion or is that a complete waste of time?

I believe this thread talks about some really good alternatives. I have some 6 ton Pro-Lift (I think is the brand) that I got from home depot for like $35 or so. They are ratcheting, but plenty of metal where the recalled ones are lacking.

This question is for any UGA fan: has anyone tried to replace the Toyota logo on the front grill with the UGA logo “G”?

Anyone know of any other aftermarket steering rack bushings for 2nd gens aside from Energy Suspension? Just installed a 2nd set of ES bushings 3 weeks ago, after the first set went bad after a year(was hoping the first set was just a fluke). After this past week of super mild wheeling for the 1st time with them, I’ve got what looks like an inch of play from the rack and the bushings are shot already... any recommendations? Will never recommend these bushings lol

Not sure if you are talking about a camping trailer, but Expedition Georgia does this in the metro area. Im not sure how successful it is. doesn't seem like a bad idea. I mean it would give people who want a trailer a chance to try one out before they invest money or time.

Yeah something like that. Mine would be more than a wooden teardrop. More of a Offroad mini toyhauler/camper.

That's why I have a 2500HD 6.0 Gas (thats been paid off for years) in the driveway. Agreed but Taco's still have their place. I would much rather drive my taco off road than the 2500HD.

Got that rack mounted, JB. That was a pro tip on stepping up the drill bits. Got the holes tapped and some new T-slots for mounting. She's a beauty. Thanks again.IMG_1144.jpg

Your welcome bro. It was extremely hard to let that one go, as you can see when we picked it up. Truly the best one out there! Looks great in the truck man. Looks proper.
If you ever want to match that powder coat, I used Black Magic. It ain’t cheap but it’s the best.
