Nice. We're probably refining some of your upgraded crude right now. Seriously. First time ever for us to process 100% Canadian crude slate.

@FishnTx is an operator too at the local Trojan condom factory.

The best money is made on the reach arounds.

It's the personal touch that separates the wheat from the chaff.

Yeah we ship most of our shit down your way. The rest goes to a couple refineries in our area.

It's been... Interesting. We're made for heavy sours, but from Mexico and South America. Sometimes for straight Canadian crudes like Cold Lake. Get into dilbits and blends like Christina or Lloyd and things get interesting. Upgraders too. They present a new challenge that most Gulf Coast refineries aren't used to seeing.

Yeah your plant wouldn't like our blend then. We have a super sweet synthetic Crude blend. Worked a refinery back on the east coast at the beginning of my career. That plant was built for super sour crudes and it didnt like the sweet blends either.

It's not so much the sulfur content but the assay and gravity. I mean, sweet is usually medium to light, and sour medium to heavy, but the assay isn't sulfur dependent.

What's the API of y'alls blend?

Lol yeah we process 20-21 down here. Like I said, heavy sour. We'd flood if we ran that light of crude.

Then again, with the way things are going, who knows what the crude slate will be a week from now.

No. A work apron. He can’t b### me until he’s done with his work. This is a business relationship first and foremost. He becomes spankboy when he’s off the clock. @Hobbs this will be known as our “contract” from this point forward. Good luck on your first day.

Yeah they used to change the crudes back east like a woman changes clothes. you could see the crud unit go from flooding to drying up and back again all in one shift if they were playing with the blend down at the tank farm.
