That sucks to hear man! Hope you find a new job soon! Who did you work for and what drinks are you talking about?

 

Sucks to hear you lost your job. My only advice to you is take this as an opportunity to get out of Louisiana! I grew up in NOLA and left 10 years ago, and it has been the best decision I've ever made. I am making between 25% and 30% more than I'd make for the same job in Louisiana and the cost of living is lower, the schools are better, I'm not below sea level, etc. Louisiana is a great place to visit, but I'll never live there again.

I lived in New Orleans too and got laid off about 6 months before Katrina. Turned out to be the best layoff ever!

 

Didn't take offense to it.....just didn't think it needed to be said on here, and that goes for if someone makes a negative statement towards Democrats.

I'm sure the majority would agree with me about that.......
