Sucks to hear you lost your job. My only advice to you is take this as an opportunity to get out of Louisiana! I grew up in NOLA and left 10 years ago, and it has been the best decision I've ever made. I am making between 25% and 30% more than I'd make for the same job in Louisiana and the cost of living is lower, the schools are better, I'm not below sea level, etc. Louisiana is a great place to visit, but I'll never live there again.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'm going to guess he worked for Miller Brewing.

I understand you're a little mad and I feel sorry for you.
But there is absolutely no reason to bring politics into the discussion, or your political beliefs (which I feel are very off) into this thread......or site. Have a good day.

    More info for you: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/site-news-announcements/17179-tacomaworld-code-conduct.html

That blows. Sounds like you are a propeller head like me. If you decide to setup your own business, you may want to take a look at www.onforce.com. Kind of like an ebay for SMB's to get IT work accomplished.

Good luck, hope it all works out.

Sorry to hear about you losing your job. When one door closes, another one opens.

You seriously took offense to what the OP said? You may as well post this link to the code of conduct in just about every thread then.

I lived in New Orleans too and got laid off about 6 months before Katrina. Turned out to be the best layoff ever!

Didn't take offense to it.....just didn't think it needed to be said on here, and that goes for if someone makes a negative statement towards Democrats.

I'm sure the majority would agree with me about that.......
