Couple years ago now, helped a guy work on his house. He had a hitachi nailer and the saftey bolt fell out. I ended up fixing it with a allen screw and lock washer. The original didnt have a lock washer.

Is it the NR83 framing nailer? Those are famous for the nail rack sides getting bent and causing problems. Running one rack almost always solves them. lol

Maybe something jammed up in the nail guide? All of my finish guns fire fine with 2 racks.

LMAO. OK. Chalk it up to a finicky tool.

I've got a cordless sawzall that only works when it wants too. I've replaced every piece of circuity in it and it still has a mind of it's own. lol

Any ideas on what it says under the squiggly? I'm trying to figure out where this wire goes. Same type of marker used for the heat pump so I'm assuming it's related. Maybe it was something that was disconnected when the heat pump was installed years ago.

That is precisely why when I was working for an electrical engineer we required TYPED, not hand written, panel schedules!

written isn’t bad if you do proper capital letters for all using a non-ballpoint pen.

My house was like that. First thing I did was make P-touch labels when I moved in.

So we poured SLC in another bedroom yesterday, so I took some photos of the process along the way.

First one is floor prepped: dam in the doorway, screws next to all nails on subfloor, edges (subfloor to bottom plate) caulked with cheapest caulk you can find, seams of subfloor panels filled/once overed with feather finish (I like Henry's 549, its not too expensive, easy to find, works well and can be covered in about an hour), SLC primer applied and finally metal lathe screwed throughout (edges smashed down to reduce height).

    Prepped for Pour.jpg

Second is later that night when it was cured enough to walk on about 4 hours later. While you can see the edges where the different buckets were poured (wavy lines), if you keep a wet edge and are smart with where you pour, it all levels out perfectly. I had one helper that was using a gauge rake set to 1/4" working it to high spots, edges and corners and letting it settle.

    Post Pour.jpg

Room was 180 sq ft plus the closet, I think we used ~15 bags (about half a pallet), just enough to barely cover the lathe.

Today I'll go around the edges with a wet rag and clean up the baseboards, it will wipe off with a little water and some effort.

With all this electrical panel talk, anyone have any suggestions for a good replacement (easiest to swap) for a Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panel? I want to replace the one in my house before it kills us in our sleep.
