Good evening Bill. I haven't been getting notifications for my own thread for some reason. We were at a memorial service for a friend all evening. Sad, but what a cool guy he was.

The shower worked great on our last trip. The "Green Elephant" is fantastic but the shower was a little awkward. My back is been bad the last few days and I wanted to stay in the AC so I brought it inside today to figure some things out

I found a hanger for the shower head in the kit with it I hadn't tried and it fit the tent perfect allowing the shower head to be hung at a perfect height and still allowing easy removal to rinse your legs maybe.

The hose and rechargeable battery pack hang strait down into the jerry can almost to the bottom

Then I found a small collapsable stool to put in there to sit onto bet dressed all in all it should work out really well.

That’s a sweet setup! It’s those types of items that might get my wife to try camping.

Nice! We got a pop up one off Amazon that we used on our last trip. Made a great toilet room as well for the little one! Only complaint I had was the 20 minutes of trying to figure out how to collapse it back to small enough to fit back in the back

It really is the small things for a lot of people. This system is quick and simple and I just set the jerry can out in the sun to get hot. A warm shower makes a huge comfort difference

This one folds flat like one of the windshield covers. Ye it can be a pain to remember how to fold but in reality only she’s a couple minutes, folds flat, light weight, and really makes camping more enjoyable

Busy day! I didn't get much done but still busy. I have been hearing a noise for a little while but couldn't figure ut what it was. last night it sounded like my throwout bearing was going bad it was so loud. Of course my ind goes toward expensive issues. I finally figured out one of the lights I mointed in the grill had come loose and was wobbling around. Where i mounted them I figured out I would probably never get to stay tight, hey it was worth a try nothing ventured nothing gained.
They were mounted in the grill:

I finally just said screw it and popped a couple of holes in the bumper and moved them out there I figured it'll be a much more solid mount and hopefully no more worries:

When I did the black on the hood and top of the grill I wasn't sure if I would like it. I wasn't paying $300 to have it wrapped because well I'm just too cheap. If I painted it then well it was pretty much permanent. So, I taped it off and Plasti Dipped it. I had done chrome bumpers, emblems, and grills before and never had an issue and it was easy to remove if I didn't like it so win win. Well I decided to remove it thinking this ought to take about an hour. Boy was I wrong, at least for the first few hours. What a PITA! Then Jhonny @DirtDemon16 came by to hang out a bit and suggested the power washer, at this point I was ready to try anything. 15 minutes with the power washer and done. IDK if I'll do that again

    Was this:

Now back to this: I may just leave it

Does all this make any difference whatsoever :notsure: Truck needs a good hand wash and wax now

Did you happen to contact @3pooches about the front bumper? He may not be in a hurry to sell if you are interested. It would look very nice on your truck and the price is pretty good :boink:

I did! He’s going to hang on to it for me. I’m still (anxiously) waiting for my front suspension to come in.
On another note - I hit up the brewery yesterday for a growler of Blacktop. It’s fantastic, by far one of my favorite stouts

Oh good I am glad you like it. One of my favorite stouts as well. Did you order coils with the fronts and get them assembled? It'll work better and quicker install. Did you straighten ut the rear bumper issue?

    5100’s/885 with assembly.
I got the rear a little more straight, I have two new bumper brackets on the way to fix the problem. The passenger side bracket is fubar. There’s a slight skew in the bumper but it can be fixed.
I have a buddy that’s going to help with the hitch/frame bend
