Hi guys, I'm new here but have been watching the forums for a long time. I'm in eastern PA and looking to get a nice quality lift done on my truck but reputable places all seem to be over the border in NJ. So I received a quote from a reputable person that has great reviews but I think these quotes are super high. Can anyone chime in if I'm getting ripped off. Keep in mind, the wheel/tire combo is probably around $2500 and it includes the CMC. First quote is a Bilstin 5100, second for Fox 2.0 and third is King. Any advice is appreciated. I haven't agreed to anything but what should the ballpark be? I'd like to get ADS shocks but this installer will only deal with the mentioned brands. Again, I'm new to this, what should I be paying for something like this? Thanks for any feedback you can give.

PS...daily driver vehicle, not used for OR, just for looks.

They are also throwing a set of icon delta joint control arms on there in every package. Those are 800 dollar uca’s. Could save some dough with a cheaper uca especially if your not going to be offroading. Id buy everything online and tell them you just want the labor to put it on.

Think about diff drops which might be needed, how are you lifting the rear, maybe need a needle bearing ECGS clam shell bushing for added insurance so no vibrations. I didn't need upper control arms, my alignment is within specs, granted my wheels were like $680 and tires were $700. I think you can save some money by skipping the front uca. My truck rides and drives great, no vibrations and no issues. I'm sure it will out perform my truck when in stock form and I did it for looks, better ride and have no desire to go off road however I know my truck can handle anything I ever throw at it.

Thanks for everyone's insight. All good points and food for thought. I discussed with another shop and am going to go with OME BP 51 lift. Still expensive but I think they will withstand PA winter's better. The King's tend to rust quickly, can't see dropping that much money and having them look like crap after one winter. OME's apparently hold up pretty well against corrosion and are at a good median price. Will post pics when its done.
