Just seeing if there are any rugby players on TW. I played for 5 years in college at UF, love the fucking sport, but work and the fact my collar bone is no longer/barely attached to my acromion process has kept me sidelined for the past 1.5 years. I miss it :(

flank, 8, and got moved to lock after one of ours graduated which was not my most favorite, but I was damn good at it. Well I didn't play for my HS, but I played in the St. Patty's tourny in Savannah, GA a few years. That's how I got started. But yeah, flanker is by far the best position, though 8 man is close (just sucks cramming your head between 2 locks' asses)

Hey guys just got on the forum recently. I'm out in San Diego but I played four years for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut, mainly hook, but some flank and 8. Separated my shoulder and messed up my right ring finger real bad. I had a second surgery on it last week to implant an artificial joint. The first was to reattach all the ligaments and the other stuff. Whatever. Love the sport.

    #10 here.

Used to play most of the back line before I decided I was spending entirely too much time in the ER.

Fullback retired. I separated my shoulder one too many times and like my job flying helicopters more than I like playing rugby...so I have to give it up.

#15 fullback in college. Had to stop because playing rugby and passing my college classes weren't mutually exclusive. It was more of a drinking team with a rugby problem...:D

I always wanted to try fullback...that and fly half.

I remember playing a team in college and during kick off one of them asked us to go easy on them because they were hungover from the previous night. needless to say that was a fun game haha :D

Fullback is a lot of fun until the bull of a man on the other team comes barreling through your defense. Then you're all that's left between him and the a try. Flyhalf seems like fun! We has this wirey guy who was incredibly hard to tackle as our flyhalf. I'm small, quick and could kick since I came from a soccer background so fullback suited me well.
