Opinion wanted on bed side decal

I’ve only done the one side so far. Can’t decide if I like it or it’s corny. Be honest.

 

I’m guessing you’re military, if so rock it. It fits and doesn’t look bad at all.

 

It's unique and you chose it for a reason...so go with it. It's not corny, not any cornier than star wars stuff or the unique Huey Edition decal I'm having made.

 

Not military. That’s one reason I can’t decide. I live in a military town and don’t want to come off as a poser. I grew up with G.I.Joe and my hobby is guns so it fits my interests.

Stolen Valor comes to mind. Not that I personally care.. but someone might in your town.

 

She actually loves it.

 

I say do it. If you get complements on it keep it. I think it's cool and definitely different. You can take it off if you decide you don't like it.

 

GI Joe is also an action figure and a cartoon character. I’ve never heard that slang term used and I live close to a few bases. OP isn’t putting vet stickers or ribbons on his truck. I would hardly call this stolen valor.
