Yes I did. The Kenwood amp is rated at 500 watts rms at 2 ohm so it perfectly matches the sub. I did have to remove the back of the 60/40 split seat as the sub was vibrating against it. Overall very happy. Hits hard with the head unit and amp tuned around half gain.

I rattle canned it. Not sure why. I coulda left it bare aluminum and prolly would hide dings and scratches better. Oh well. It came out okay for a skid plate. Hope it holds up well.

No dogs allowed on the beaches around here until October thanks to irresponsible dog owners!

Duplicolor! Available in a pen or spray. Been using it for more years than I care to admit. Google their site.

Pretty sure Duplicolor pen has color on one end clear on the other. Google to be sure.

With 2 kids and another on the way, figured now is the time to get these Clazzio seat covers on before the kids stain the cloth seats. These things are freaking awesome! However, I NEVER want to do these again. I think I sweat enough in this iowa humidity that I won't need to piss again for a week.

I totally understand, I was a crew chief on RF-4'S and 135's. Now I am just a Chief trying to teach this new generation how to work on KC-135'S.

Maybe in California. But in Maine the aluminum would still corrode from the salt and look terrible.

Yeah, they're pricey but the quality is top notch. Honestly, I think it would have been A LOT easier if it wasn't so damn humid.

It definitely is a great job. It has taken me to some wonderful places around the world, and a few places not so wonderful. Wouldn't change a thing about it, I will retire next December with 40 years and 9 months of service.

Caved on raptor lights, got the set from running4tacos. PSA: they don't fit OEM pro grille well at all; had to sand/file each piece and do a good amount of adjusting for each space...their site said to use electrical tape to secure, but that seems like a bad solution for something that's $70.20200712_195218.jpg

Milk it for as long as you can Chief. I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't think about my 12 years in the AF. I know there were bad days and a lot was asked of us but I miss everything about and especially the people I served with. Becoming a civilian again was difficult for me and I even work for the US Army Corps of Engineers now. It's just not the same.

Anyway, got to spend a lot of time on 135's, especially after the "flying" crew chief ended on the B-1's. I flew on A-models with water out in South Dakota and R-models. Damn those R's were the cat's pajamas.

Wow! That's really impressive Chief. Most people struggle for 20.
