I figured you’d get a kick out of it. Was going to keep going with random crap but didn’t wanna make ya mad :). Hope everyone had a good weekend. Just got back from riding skis again on smith lake.

Ok so I have a question to ask. Today’s storm did damage to my truck from a metal frame patio chair. Before the bad weather came in I was outside at 6am this morning detailing the inside before it got blistering hot. Didn’t even know there was a storm coming today.

Question I have is which insurance covers that? Auto or home? Didn’t know if anyone had experience with that kind of thing.

Looks good man! Did you have to extend the harness for the switches since you mounted it in the bed?

I would claim it on the auto insurance as flying debris. I would never mention that it was your patio chair. That could start a finger pointing contest between the home and auto insurance companies. If you have home and auto bundled, they will try and charge it to whatever has the largest deductible; most likely the home.

Thanks man! Oooooh yea. I extended it and my extension wasn’t long enough so I had to add more! I went through all 100ft of cable I bought at lowes...and all 3 rolls of electrical tape:eek: Part of why it took so long lol

Help me choose. Currently truck is not a daily driver, but we are probably going to get a small camper soon and use it to tow.

Didn’t he make us pay for them too? I mean $15 for a plate of that sounds about right.

My vote would be #2. I don't know how often/hard you "wheel" to need a front locker. Also think the added weight of f/r bumper with towing would necessitate gears......so that's my reasoning :D

Also I spent about 2 hours today trying to figure out why the compressor came on and turned off and wouldn’t come back on. I was freaking out, I thought I blew a fuse or the motor burned out or my wiring was bad somewhere. I checked the grounds, switches, voltages, everything...only to realize it auto shuts off when the tank is full:anonymous::rofl:

I would say the least amount of weight as possible so it doesn’t eat into your load capacity pulling the camper. You run out of payload pretty quick on these trucks when towing.
