Celsius to Fahrenheit ?

Maybe things have changed but my 2019 Canadian truck i can change between C and F in the settings menu.

 

Not your hvac settings

That’s what I get for selling my 4Runner for a Canadian tacoma.

For the record, I’m talking about my heating and air controls. Everything else in my truck is set up for USA. MPH, Fahrenheit etc.

 

I should, technically it is broken.

My SR5 has the simple knob, not the fancy dual zone. Crazy you cant change that. Glad I have the simple controls.

 

Stopped at Toyota yesterday. They weren’t able to figure it out. The service manager was pretty surprised that it couldn’t be fixed easily. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. He had his computer hooked up to my truck and he made a call to a toyota engineer. He took my VIN down and said he would do some more digging.

 

Sounds like the kind of service manager you can trust and rely on! Please let us know if you heard back from him.

My dood, 20 is comfy...summer months you may wanna hit 18. Fine tune from there.

The rest of the non premiums, they gotta deal with blue/white/red range...math is fun

 

Anyone ever get this figured out? I just cant believe Toyota wouldn't have made a way to change it.

 

It's easier to just do the math in your head.

Or change the way you look at comfort, like fire walking.

 

2nd is there a confirmed answer on this?

 

Has anyone tried using software such as 4Scan to fix this?

 

No matter our differences -40 is equally cold AF in F or C.

 

For me it’s not a big deal but I just can’t imagine it’s not a setting the dealer can’t change.

 

Be that person and tell us how the dealer fixed yours.
