Finally bringing the Tundra to Tints R' Us (Windham) tonight to get the fronts done. Woot! :bananadance:

Snook does awesome work, this will be the third vehicle he's done for me. Highly recommended if anyone's looking to do any tinting.

NONSENSE!! DON'T TELL ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE! o_O:D
I've actually never been pestered about the tint on any of my vehicles. Maine law is 35%. I had 25% on the Wrangler, 30% on the Taco to match the rears, will do the same on the Tundra. It's not drug-dealer-limo-tint-dark enough to draw attention and I drive like a grandma, you can see in when the sun is out in so I can't even pick my nose in the privacy of my own truck.

    Well
    You have been warned.
    We can see tint added.
    No cert. No sticker..
If they aren't asking then they aren't doing their job..

Just trying to make you aware however, picking your nose in the truck worries me where you put it after..

I was running 20% and 5% on the rear 3 and never was asked for a certificate, never was hassled by police, etc.

I've never been asked about the window tint during inspections in Maine or Virginia, have had tint the last 15 years. My Camaro was 20% or less down in VA (I thought it was cool at the time, don't judge me..) I'll risk it. Worst case I peel it off and i'm out $150
Then again one of the kids that did the bike inspections at the shop used to let squids leave with stickers when their pipes were blatantly and ear-bleedingly over the legal dB limit. There's idiots in positions of power everywhere..

I'm not a big coastal Maine guy, but 85% of it is the congestion, people, and traffic in the summer. I picked up the martin rack off TW in Dover. We went to the baby store in Hampton Falls, then drove back route 1 and route 9 all the way to Scarborough. It didn't take that long, I only had to stop once for congestion, and I enjoyed it. Parleeing that into next weekend for a stay at the Samoset. I haven't paid for a hotel with my own money in a long time ($300/night) and that was tough to stomach, but I am sure I won't find myself there again unless it's for a wedding or something.

The coast is nice when it’s not full of tourists, but the bank accounts don’t do so well then.

At the egging-on of my 16 year old nephew, did some wakeboarding and unintentional lake-drinking on Little Sebago yesterday. My sister and bro in law have a house near the diving rock. Surprisingly not as many dinguses out yesterday as usual. Massholes like to come up and terrorize the lakes as well as the coast.

Finally got my rear window wired up in my 2011 DCLB. It's loud as hell and slow, but its nice to be able to open that up while driving. I used a firgelli auto actuator and switch. The switch is obviously not the same size as the blank slot but I couldn't find any that would fit there. I used the instructions from this post: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/converting-sliding-rear-window-to-power.64816/

Also got my 4x4 switch lit up after ordering @rcbs204 LED panel while I had the dash apart. I highly suggest both upgrades!
