We are going to try towing with it. Camper is around 4K dry. If it doesn’t work I’ll probably get an old full size for towing but lord knows I don’t need another vehicle.

Where will you put the winch if #3.

I say #2 but add front locker, because why not. You will want the gears for towing

A Tacoma to a 1 ton is a hell of an upgrade..

I do want another 3/4 ton at some point though, don't need really just want.
I've got plenty of friends to loan me their diesels for now.

Some companies are making a winch mount for behind the center section of a 3rd Gen.

I guess I think that I’ll have a good excuse to spend money on gears after we get the camper. I’ll never have a good excuse to buy a front bumper.

Mine is 4810 dry. It does fine it just eats fuel when towing but that’s nothing new. I get around 8 mpg with the camper. It kinda sucks when you get to those long inclines and will pull your speed down a little.

The fit on that kit it awesome. Little difficult to unscrew but looks great.
You can tell him and Toyota that ill gladly find and fix all their other f-ups for then for 175k a year. Ill be waiting on my offer letter .

It worked awesome in colorado man. There were some switchback climbs we did that the truck would of smoked a bunch on before. Filled the can up about a 1/3 of the way on that 1 trail lol.
