    Lift or no lift?

Dobinsons springs are linear whereas OME are progressive.

The two variants offered by Dobinsons provide the same 2" lift at 15 1/2" long but one handles stock weight whereas the other is meant for armor, etc.

No lift, I'm installing Bilstein B6 4600 shocks on front and rear. trying to keep it stock rid height. So Gentlemen I'm open to suggestions on springs. If my top 2 coils aren't touching now, can I just reuse my old springs. If they are touching, which I will verify tomorrow, what springs would you suggest. I know from reading a ton of posts, that quite a few members use Moog springs, but I want something that I know will last a while, and give a ride that won't beat my kidneys or back to death.

Ah I was specifically referring to the rears; I've only read about people using Moog coils up front.

I've been reading up a lot on the 4R rear suspension but I'm sure others will provide better advice.

@Digiratus , question for you. found toyota springs at a couple of dealers they have 2 types listed

    1. 2003 tacoma crew cab V6 auto With Off Road Package

    2. 2003 tacoma crew cab V6 auto W/O Off Road Package.

I'm going to call the dealership later and talk to them and see if the non off road springs are linear, and what the springs weight are rated for, ie (550 lb) versus maybe (600Lb springs).I'll also ask them which spring will give me the better ride quality. Not much difference between prices on both coil springs.

I bought the professional spray gun, and highly recommend. I had a hard time controlling with the one that came in the kit. I tried it for the first bottle, and it put out a lot of material really fast. As to colors, you can tint to whatever you like. You buy the tint separately, at an automotive paint store. However, tinted Raptor is not going to "match" your existing paint. Here is a good example of them side by side:

It really is. I'm seeing it more and more as a valid option if/when my paint needs to be addressed. I think it made a big difference with how well he prepped and that he added some thinner to the paint mix so it's smoother and not as rough a texture.
Looks really freaking good, especially in that color

Yeah a beat up 95 v6 manual. The "dirt truck" as she calls it. Kid that owned it before her used house paint with a brush and roller to paint it a weird drab green hahaha but works good for running around town and hauling her gardening stuff.

Like Toyotas. Every vehicle we own is a toyota. Between my immediate family we have 4 1st gen tacos, 1 2nd gen taco, 1 3rd gen 4runner, a sienna, and an Avalon. Lol we have a problem.

If the top coils are not touching each other, they are still doing their job and are not worn out yet. The non-trd springs are linear. And from what Monte is saying, so are the 3rd gen 4-runner springs.

#2 would be the non-trd springs. An inspection would verify that. The trd/offroad spring is progressive, indicated by the coils on the upper portion of the spring.
