It's about time for a Coppinger Cove ride, who's in??

    9/24 Update - DEETS!

Ill be at the Trials Center at 300 Woodland Road, Sequatchie, TN 37374 tomorrow evening (9/25) to meet and hang out with a handful of folks. Most will be staying at the Trials Center to camp, I will head into the trail a little bit and set up camp there (saves me some $$ and I love the sound of water flowing!).

I may head up earlier tomorrow to do some exploring in the surrounding area, we will see what the day brings.

We will rendezvous with those who are coming up Saturday AM(9/26), at Coppinger Cove Church at 9AM located https://goo.gl/maps/WbwqFLg92jag25ph8 and hit the trail from there.

I will be camping on the trail as well Saturday night, and some will be headed back to the Trials Center to camp.

Let me know if there are any questions!

    IMG_8422.jpg IMG_8455.jpg
(disclaimer - water will NOT be this deep when we go, so long we don't go while it's raining)

To those that haven't been - 4x4 required, HIGHLY recommend bumpers/sliders/skids and 33"+ tires.

    Date set for August 28th-30th.

Tag those you think would be interested!

I made it perfectly fine several times with 265/75-16’s a year ago but the trail is ever changing and I’ve found with 33’s it’s much more manageable.

As far as the trails go, there’s not really an ‘easy’ trail as there’s really only one way through. Patience will get us all through with no issues!

Thanks for the tag, Jonny! I’d be interested but ive never been, not sure if I could make it the whole way through, I don’t want to be “that guy” that holds everyone back lol I don’t have 4x4 but I’ll have my locker installed if y’all go in August. No 33s, 265/75/16s, but do have a winch, lift, steel bumpers and the willpower to send it when necessary:D

I’m on 265s too, but am pretty well suited up with armor.

I think @pdaddy could do it with locker as long as its mostly smooth rock like @JBTacoma said and no extreme hill sections. Rocks and off camber on smooth flat ground have been a non issue for me. Its just when you get into incline were you have trouble with 2wd locked

I would be down if I’m free on the selected weekend. I rarely have a free weekend in August though.
