Drove yesterday with just one CB drop and vibes were there. Today in the am I added the second one and it seem to have done nothing. I still have to get rid of it completely and see if it does anything, will do that later. ATM it looks that the greatest angle is at the tcase so doing that might do something. What about that diff oil level?

My advise, make sure you grease your u joints and drive it for a while see if vibes get better over time. as for the center bearing if you went up 2" in lift bring that bearing down 2". take the axle shim out would be my advise.
Obviously not seeing the truck or driving in it, were all just guessing hear. Have another set of eyes just visually look at it you never know.....best of luck you'll figure it out just take time

In terms of the oil level, you could crack the fill port and Check. My assumption is oil will pour out since it is angled back slightly. The diffs aren’t a precise measurement of fluid. So I wouldn’t be too concerned.
if I recall the third gens do not have grease fittings.

it’s possible the axle shims are helping. Just so hard to determine without knowing the stock angle for lifted angle of the driveline.

If it appears to be the most angle at the tcase Then you are correct with the cb drops helping. You did run with just the cb drop and no shims for a bit correct?

Drove with one CB and double. Didn't seem to do much of a difference but with double I did maybe 3km. Will leave it for now and see...

Just out of curiosity have you inspected your drive shaft for dents? Not sure if they vibes started immediately after the lift but it’s possible a dented shaft and increased angles may be the issue. Just something to look at. Never hurts.

I assume the driveshaft is good since I didn't wheel the truck hard and the vibes started right after lifting the rear...

As others have said, you need to get an angle finder, the little square shaped magnetic digital ones are the easiest to use.
0 out on the back of your transfer case then measure your front and read driveshaft angles then hold it against the front of your rear axle housing.
(even an inclinometer app on your phone will work)

I'll check my notes but the #'s 3.2 deg front axle 3.6 rear and 1.7 deg on the axle housing were some stock #'s I had in my head.

When are you getting the vibes? Heavy/light?
    Heavy/Light Acceleration or Deceleration,
    Any certain constant speeds?
    While Turning?

While driving straight if you put the truck in 4wd does it go away?

I know silly questions... but has to be asked, as it does happen...
everything was not torqued down until the truck gad been put on the ground and "settled" ?
Pointy end of the axle shims to the front?
All the rear prop shafts and carrier bearing are in a straight line and perpendicular to the diff input flange?

You followed the general rule of 1deg per inch of lift, but since each truck is different and leaf springs vary you may need to look at either more or less shim angle.... Then look at the carrier bearing drop.

Key points to even begin to guess are in the questions above... :) The When part being more important ..

    Vibes occur: Before axle shims
30-55km/h, then 100-110km/h those were very noticeable

    After axle shims
15-25km/h, then a little around 100km/h these are really minor yet I feel them

In both cases vibes are mostly noticeable at a constant speed, in bottom ranges dissapearing when accelerating fairly heavy but not in the top.
Leaf bolts/ nuts were torqued after the truck was on the ground and been swung a bit. Shims are installed correctly. Driveshaft looks to be in a straight line.

I think you have too much weight based on angle, unload and run the bed empty.

I have just about 85lbs in the bed. Should I run the truck while staying outside??

During acceleration the pinion angle kicks up, (simulating a larger angle axle shim).....

So getting rid of CB drop entirely is the next logical step....?
