Thanks man. Yea the mount turned out really good, cutting that 1/4” thick plate was a little gnarly tho. But worth it! The awning is the Eezi-Awn Manta. It’s quality!

Playing around with the new setup, seems as if it’s all coming together! Headed out this weekend, ready to play!

I've got one and I love it. I may have missed it in your thread but where did you relocate the backup camera lens to?

I think I see the camera mounted right above the license plate.

I used a self-tapping screw and drilled it straight into the swingout arm

I may seem dense. The lens looks like it's attacked to a bracket and the bracket is screwed into the swing arm. I'm wondering who makes the bracket.

    Toyota lol. No big deal.

If you remove your camera assembly from the tailgate, that's what it looks like. I removed the wiring, camera assembly and rerouted the factory harness to that point on the swingout. No cutting or splicing needed.

This thread helped me find what I personally was looking for, a plug and play replacement, with no drilling required. I also didn’t want to have cables zip tied to my swing out. Just trying to keep it clean and simple.

Here’s the link to the actual bracket and camera, the price has gone up for some reason. But I’ll say it’s a great image, and no issues Also the cables pop right thru the spare tire access “cutout” right above the license plate. Which is where your backup camera plug is, super short run. If you end up going this route, you can leave your factory setup as is, just unplug it and plug in your new one. Done deal.

I've had mine for over a year. It's been holding up great. I did damage the hinge lock when it swung open too fast, so be careful.
