I don’t think there is anything “better” about these than the other brands. Just different options (although tepoo poo tents aren’t as good of quality as CVT DA ROAM)

    cant get both. Sorry man

I’ll get you more details. But annex for sure.

I got a solid deal, couldn’t pass it up. It will work for my needs hopefully. I figure I can always resell it and get my money back if not. It was cheap enough to try it out and see if I like the whole rtt thing.

    Exactly. That’s all that matters.
Personally I like the hard shell after owning 2 soft cover tents.
You have a good tent though to get into the RTT thing. I’m sure you and the family will enjoy the time. I’d try to get an AC unit set up for out there cause it’s hot and humid AF lol

Lol yeah they are all made in china from a couple different factories for around 500 USD. The "designer " from the US just adds their stamp and may tweak a few things.

Well.. a little more than 500. But yes. There are about 7-9 factories across China / Korea that make them.

    Wellllll
Tent should be here this week. So I’ll be updating here.. in 2 weeks or so.

I have a general idea of what I’m going to do, I just need to figure out the temperature sensor. I’d like to be able to put it on the air exhaust so the ac will actually be reading the temp inside the tent so, in theory, once the tent is the temperature I want it’ll cycle the ac unit vs just running non stop.

No I think he’s talking about the price of tents on alibaba or through a broker.

Ended up taking me a few months to get this mounted but it was worth the wait. Super stoked how this came out and can’t wait to use it

They been around for a while. All these tents look the same. They must source from the same factory. But $1800 is a solid deal.

These tents don’t have near the features DA has.
These are the base of the base tents. It’s like buying a smittybilt RTT. Sure. It works. But the poles will bend easily and the hinges will bind up. It’s way taller. Not as good as plastic covering. The material is not as thick. I posted somewhere about it. I’ll find it and share here
