    East Blue Ridge Road (Guffy Campground) 6-20-2020

    Took my two youngest for a day trip to Angeles National Forest. Explored the area a bit, had breakfast and lunch and headed back home at sunset. Beautiful trip and my daughters had a blast.

    Designed and printed this nice little Baofeng radio holder at work today. Works great with my The Taco Garage DMM. Added some Velcro (softer side) to the inside to give it a snug fit.

    Thanks bro, I like it. Not sure how great it’ll work on the fire roads lol. If it falls out I’ll have redesign it to incorporate the radios clip to get a better fit. We’ll see...

    I’m more concerned about those driveway bumps in the mall parking lots haha. You could use a small bungee cord around the rear mount and place a small hook in the small hole between the Ms on the front. Or use some sort of tacky rubber inside to increase the friction

    Finally got around to installing the Redline Hood Struts. They have been in the garage for a bit collecting dust. I like em! Also did my 20k oil change this morning.

    I was actually! Wish I still had that thing, but it just didn’t work with my commute back then. It was not a 4x4 tho, so I don’t regret it too much.

    I remember you man. I miss my FJ everyday. It's part of the reason I ended up getting a Tacoma. I see a built FJ on the street and I still get heart palpitations and utter regret for getting rid of mine.
