Called the dealer and spoke with the shop manager. Definitely said there's an issue and I'm dropping it off today.

I'm betting it was an unreported accident and thus didn't show up. Probably frame damage.

or put on the sumo springs it fixed mine plus it doesn't squat when you put 50lbs in the back. i did the 1000# kit for the 2nd gens, youll get a little lift out of it. fixed my lean and lifted my truck 1.25 pass and 1.5 driver. i have a shell on the back so thats why i got that big of a lift, she was squatted

Will do! From the measurements taken while I was there, it was about a 1.25" difference on level ground. They're looking in to other issues today so hopefully I will hear something.

I sure hope not. If it is, this will be the worst purchase I've ever made. :/

Quick update: Spoke with the dealer today and they told me it has something to do with the shims. They're getting together a part list and will be in contact later.

Can you guys look at your leaf packs and look at the color of the part number. mine has yellow on driver side and white on passenger side w no lean.20200712_145211.jpg 20200712_145152.jpg

Maybe the factory mixed up the leaf packs.
The same w the coils there is a driver specific color on them.

Driver red dot, Pass pink dot, thats how they are on mine.20200717_215046.jpg

Just heard back from the SECOND dealership (has no ties with this truck). Frame is bent. Waiting for the body shop to send the info to the dealer I bought the truck from. The service manager said he will be getting with sales to figure out how to "make this right".

I sure hope so. The truck wasn't cheap and I can't have a bent frame with kids in the back seat. That's asking for trouble if we were to get in an accident.

I'm surprised the truck hasn't reacted with VSC in turns etc. That lean looks extreme. Makes you wonder what the dealer might have done to make it drive and sell

Yeah, I'm really concerned a reputable dealer would find this okay. I'm really hoping the manager in the service department is being sincere when they plan on making this ordeal right.

    Partial update:

The dealer that found the frame damage said after further inspection, there is no doubt that that truck has been in a severe accident. The frame is bent in several places and I was told not safe to drive. The dealer that found these issues is writing up a diagnosis for the dealer I bought from, so the service manager can get with the sales manager to figure out what to do.

At this point, I refuse to take back the truck no matter what they conclude. I was driving my son to school 5 days a week around 35 miles on a major interstate while he was in school. I'm happy we weren't in accident since the truck would be much more unsafe in it's current state. More updates as I hear the info.
