I did it all last week in two nights...I am not even showing the back yard

    Jesus almost took my ankles
    Exactly

Yeah I got about over an acre of grass or so between front and back.
I definitely need to lay down moss killer, lime, fertilizer, overseed.
    Might need a racing harness

As I got older, and my knees and back got more wore out, that's the main reason I got the smallest diesel awd sub-compact Kubota had. The front end loader is small enough to get into tight spaces but can haul 300 lbs. That and the 54" snow blower make short work of those types of tasks. Especially with 6 or 7 yards of mulch or 30" of snow on a 1,600 ft driveway.

    wanna be mods
Sounds like my goal...not so much with the snow blower given it's only a real problem every 7-10 years down this way (south east of RVA).

Mulch, Dirt, Trail/Shooting Lane Maintenance and gravel/dirt road work have had me waffling between this option and a larger, less bells and whistle Kubota. The knees and back sounds like me, too...I mean I didn't earn the nickname of "Oldest young man" my former coworkers coined for me 20 years ago as a teenage summer/winter part time worker!!!

I wanna say that you could do it with just about any rider. I'm trying to get my wife to take a picture of our hill. :) You definitely have more hills than I do, but there's a chance I got you on the steepness. Not that this is a contest.

Ok, not sure why but I thought all the X designated machines had the locking rear. So then the Husky is definitely a better deal then.

Hmm that would have been good to know...I used to take zero turns straight down slopes that were steep...definitely more than 15* if I had to guess haha

That came in my owner's manual. I have probably far exceeded that degree of slope.

ask one of you neighbors if they could come over one day with their riding mower and see if it can do a line across each of the slopes. doesnt seem too bad

Most of my slopes approach 30 degrees then. I have a couple that are definitely 45. I sit so far side saddle on some I have to reach down and grab the fender to stay in the seat. I wear my seat belt and mine has the roll bar aks ROPs system.

I flipped my first JD over backwards and the second one I rolled. I nearly burned one of them to the ground trying to push large piles of leaves. All my stupidity pushing the limits. But that's how I've always lived.

I actually put handles on the rear fenders over my rear tires so I have something to hold onto. I've grabbed the moving tire a few too many times. I lean off mine like I'm racing in the Moto GP. And there's no seatbelt, no ROPS, just my hard head. One day I'm gonna eat it, and I'm not sure I'm young enough anymore to move fast enough to get out of the way. Nothing like living on the wild side.

I have not rolled a mower, but I have rolled a Bobcat. Backwards down a hill. After we winched it back up it worked great. No biggie.
