I torqued them onto my hub at 90, because I kept reading mixed comments about 100 and didn't want to break a stud, alought I doubt 10lbs would matter, then torqued my wheels onto the spacer at 83

This is the variance I’ve always heard But I guess I’m wondering why there is even a variance at all with something so specific. Spidertrax and boras are the only spacers with constant quality reviews and I just want to make sure I get the same experience that everyone else seems to have with them.

Did you take them off because you went up in tire size and they rubbed?

I bought them cause I was running 285/75/16 winters on my oem wheels and rubbed the uca, but then I realized that 33 inch winters were stupid so I said fuck it and got smaller winter tires that didn't need spacers.

I was gonna go just 1 inch boras but the manufacturer told me I would indefinitely be nailed by some boarder tax as it seemed most of theirs Canadian clients had

Wow this is really becoming a huge hassle...so I ordered the Spidertrax spacer and because it's set to be delivered today I called the tire store back who first told me they where hitting the UCA...I said hey I'm looking to reschedule my spacers come in today....they said we don't install spacers....I was like you are the ones who told me to get the spacers and come back... sorry best I can do is put the tires on and send you home to install the spacer yourself...then I call a shop that I know installs spacers and they tell me yeah we install spacers but we don't Mount tires that you didn't buy here....WTF!!!

Spacers are generally a liability issue, i doubt most places would install them for you. I'd install them yourself. If you can take your wheel off, you can install spacers.
