Good morning All, beautiful morning light rain and high winds last night. Woke to doors slamming shut due to windows open and wind blasting through the house.

Have a great Monday everyone - more coffee

Back in the day (late ‘90’s), I was working for VDO Controls. We made various sensors but the one that stick out is the fuel pump voltage control. I know this tends to be a hot issue but you don’t want to run the fuel level down until the light comes on. The pumps don’t like to be run dry or hot for any period of time and use the fuel to cool the pump. The over voltage test would make the resistors start to actually glow before they would give out. Don’t worry, there’s not enough O2 in the tank to have an explosion...

This is the other reason I have issues with heat...never consistent here. Was 87 the last couple days. Now its 62, high of 74 today, and going to be near 40 tonight.

Well, I lasted a whopping hour at work with the back this morning. Spasm so bad that I had a hard time walking. Stairs? Ha! After I got home, I broke down and called the MD. Steroid pack for inflammation (Start tomorrow morning), muscle relaxer, and prescription strength ibuprofen. 2 of the 3 went down the hatch with dinner. Now I wait with a heating pad and the TENs unit on. If all goes well, the kid will be able to paint my face with makeup soon around the drool.

BTW, who thought it would be a good idea for me to buy a standard shift truck? :goingcrazy:

Well this development sucks. Yeah I drive manuals, there’s been a few times I question the choice.
