Im going to trade my 2019 Harley 48 for the Scrambler. Maybe you can find a Scrambler 400cc that was cheap like the one @uurx found?

Don’t know, I was all set to start them on dirt living out in Montana. Might have to do more street if there are good tracks around Charlotte. I want to get them into carting for sure.

I agree. Im also at the point where Im doubling on bikes. This is my 2nd 48, I had the 2nd Speed Triple.. Either time to get a 3rd, or branch out to a different style of ride

 

Well, you used an extreme version of the rule of 2/3rds and depth and it sucks you right into the image.

 

Interesting... Are you a photographer by trade or hobby?

I think it would be fun to be a moto-journalist. Getting to ride and review all the new bikes doesn't seem like a bad gig

Funny thing is it cost them more to mail it

 

I was unable to find any kind of overflow passage, but I did measure the float height. They are at 20mm, and the service manual recommends 17mm +/- 2mm, so they are a little out of spec. I will adjust the tangs and reassemble.

 

I saw you replaced jets on the carbs you rebuilt already. Thought about a jet kit while you're in there?

 

Wrapping up paperwork to go the Vermont title route, anyone here done it before? It's a little nervewracking.

 

They took $600 and it came with blue plastics as well.
