    I just did a quick search and didnt find a thread on this as of yet...

    I work with a guy who has a 2003 tacoma. He took it in for the routine oil change and maint. The tech came back out and said "I dont think you want me to do the tune up just yet."

    He showed him a big rusted hole in the frame right below the passenger side door. Then he put a hammer through the frame a few inches back.

    Toyota is giving him $19,000 for the truck.

    Did the buyback get extended to the 03's?

    So you guys have heard of the recall after the year 2000?

    I had a 2000 taco that got recalled...I thought that was the last year though...
