Alright guys so my mom informed me that she's up to spend 500 bucks on me for christmas and I was just going through the things I want. I am getting spidertrax for sure so thats already up to 200 but I'm having a hard time picking what else I want. I'm conflicted between getting a 1" block to get rid of my bro rake or getting the allpro leafs since they are 25% off right now. Any suggestions would be great I don't have much done to her other than exhaust and lift also any advice on the leaf situation would be great, thanks.

I just checked your mods and it says you have 883 coils on a 4x4 1st gen? I would start by replacing those with either 881's or 882's since those are not made for first gens. Then go with the leaf pack for sure.

I know it's funny I found that out after doing all my research and getting put on but they ride fairly well an they're only about 3k old so I think I'll keep em unless I get a ton of cv issues.

I thought 883 were for double cabs, I was going to order them for my truck.

If I was you I would use the mony towards the up keep of the truck, Hoses, belts, plugs, etc. It would suck to put that money towards all those mods have you truck break down on you. Considering your truck is alomost 10 yrs. old.

    Small lift and a topper!
All Pro leafs being on sale right now makes them a very good deal. That would be a lot nicer than blocks!

no no, 883's are for 1st gen's, they are the same length as 881's but firmer, for double cabs. 882's are taller.

The 882's are also being discontinued, because people are using them with no front bumper/winch and having major issues. this info from craig at bajanorth who spoke directly with arb.

Tell her to give $300 to the foodbank and then pick something worth $200 for your truck!

haha yeah she's getting quite a few goodies, and honestly i love my 883's at 25 mph and above less than that and they can get a lil rough but its a truck not a sportscar. I have been looking for a beefy skid to weigh it down but the budbuilt is out of my price range because of the wheel spacers. On that note has anyone used the allpro spacers? they seem to be the same style as spidertrax but cheaper. My only concern is that because they aren't painted they may be more susceptible to corrosion which kind of worries me. And I'd love to get new leafs but i have the same issue thats 450 right there with the spacers so if i went blocks on top of my aal for now and got a job later i could afford some leaves further down the road but also have more money to blow from christmas money.
