Sheesh...I try to fast as much as I can all day but then eat a normal dinner. I can't usually fast for long, I'm always hungry!! Just drinking zero sugar things alone seems to be helping though.

No problem. It works well for me and once I got used to it I wasn’t really hungry on the fast days.

 

Im wondering if the treats we just got him are upsetting his stomach. I'm not gonna give him any of them and see how tomorrow goes.

It’s a bite I’m pretty sure. I got like 4 others that night too on the other side of the ankle and my left foot. I think part of the reason this one looks worse than my others is cuz I wore my high top vans all day yesterday while riding the Harley and it was running up against it non stop.

 

You got to watch the zero sugar drinks on fasting. It will kick your body out of the zone it needs to be in.

You try Caladryl, Benadryl or aloe cream/gel?

 

I don't really fast, I'll snack on a few of those belvita bisquits or when I'm being naughty a candybar at work and thats it till dinner except an energy drink or zero soda.

 

Try ivarest it works well for us. The cream is better for me than they spray.

 

Nah. I just let it do it’s thing and be annoyed and bitch about it all day if it’s still super irritating tomorrow though I’m gonna go get some Benadryl. It was real bad last night after I kicked my shoes off. Hurt to move it a good bit. Iced it a little and that helped.

 

Ah I thought you were doing it for weight loss. That’s the only time my fat ass does it.

 

The sweetness is what gets you. In some people even having too much protein will cause an insulin response and kick you out of ketosis.

I never had that problem, though. After a few days of less than 20-30 grams of carbs, Ican stay in ketosis as long as I don't consume more than 56 net grams of carbs.

I’ll look it up. Usually on the small bites I just put a piece of regular like scotch tape over it and I forget about it until the next day. That keeps the itching away for whatever reason
