    Yes.

It’s apparent you have no desire to be there, so why not leave? Not doing you any favors or her, and you’re wasting time being miserable that doesn’t get given back to either of you.

Then again, who among us - married or otherwise - hasn't fantasized about escaping to Mexico once in a while? Partners can be difficult to deal with. And just because you feel like this right now, doesn't necessarily mean you will tomorrow, or next week. I mean, we Toyota Tacoma forum people don't have much context here. If this feeling you're expressing is constant or close to it, then maybe it's time to make a kind and dignified exit. But if you're just blowing off steam because you're pissed right now, then obviously advice to bail isn't what you really need.

Technically not. My fiancée has been a friend for 18 years and we’ve been together 10, have a 4, 2 and 8 month old.

Definitely have rough days. It’s work. Hard work. But some hard work is enjoyable, some just sucks the soul out of you and makes you question every decision you’ve ever made.

I just don’t want anybody being that unhappy with their situation and feeling like they can’t change it for some reason. Not trying to preach.

Life is shorter than we all think.

Sounds like you have your hands full. Enjoy them while they’re little, those were the best times of my life, just me and the boy.

If you two are unhappy the kid will pick up on it and it may influence what he thinks a normal, loving relationship looks like when he's older. Food for thought, don't stay for kid.

I waited til I was almost 40 to ask the right girl that came across my life path. She drinks, shoots guns, loves camping/offroading and helps with the Taco. We have separate bank accounts and I get to buy what I want as long as bills are paid with no issues, she gets same treatment. I knock out the big bills, she pays all the lil monthly ones like cell, grocery's, elec, cable etc. We are goin on 5 years with never having a single fight, I can't believe we found each other...... not trying to brag but that has been the cards I've been dealt.....Good luck, if your both not happy, what about trying to separate for a short time and look at it again? if you still feel the same then, just call it quits and move on.

I've made it to 35 years old and managed not to get married and not have kids. Have had several great long term relationships. Current one is going on 5 years.

Never saw the point in mandating that the state recognize how I feel about someone. Homegirl feels the same way.

And as for the no kids thing. It's definitely all its cracked up to be.

Our families on the other hand... "WHEN'S THE WEDDING, WHEN'S THE GRANDKIDS....."

We'll get right on that after we wake up at noon on Saturday and spend the afternoon day drinking on the lake. Having two incomes and pocketfuls of cash trumps 18 years and a upwards of a million dollars of expenses any day of the week as far as I'm concerned.

Married 25 years. Married for more years than single ones now. Been through a lot. She was my pit crew when I was racing and blow job nights still exist. Before you make any rash decisions I suggest you sleep on it.

there are hard days and easy days. Each day is a new one with new challenges better not assuming it will be the same as the last. You go in thinking all doom, it will be; but also know your flaws can be seen too. Take a breath and remember why you wanted to get married to her, and share that with her if you can.

Thats good. It can be harder if you have 1 and 1. Take a day or two. Refresh and come back to the table.
