It took me about 2 hours, but that is because I was being ridiculous about following the instructions and trying to place every zip tie exactly how the instructions show. I also was not in a big hurry to complete it. Sometimes it is nice to do something other than play Barbies or change dirty diapers. :help:

I keep my can of Plasti Dip in the AC until I’m ready to use it. I use the brush more or less to dab it on. Don’t apply in direct sunlight, otherwise it drys on your brush too quickly. Wipe brush off with paper towel when it becomes too clumpy. Use a piece of aluminum foil to help reseal the can. Good luck!

    A growing list of stuff
I am planning to put that on my list as well. The connectors would be nice to have. Otherwise, I will just cut the harness.
I don't see why I can't make it simply with some relays and switches myself rather than spend the big bucks.
One switch that will activate a relay to interrupt the reverse wire going to the head unit and then feed 12v into it, to fool it to turn the camera screen on.
Then have the reverse wire that comes from the body side hooked up to another pair of relays so it will flip between the front and rear cameras. I might be able to get away with one relay here by just leaving the video shields common and just switching the video wire. Done.

    Minor stuff.
Dealer just called me. Gotta love aftermarket parts. The external fuse panel cut into the brake booster wire and shorted out the brake system. It’s going to be a new wire harness, reprogramming the system and 3 hrs of labor and it’s out of my pocket. Just my luck.

Good info and pics. Perhaps others should know the manufacturer of the fuse panel mount so they can ensure this does not happen to them?

Hate to hear that and thank you for letting us know how the problem occured. Now knowing the problem is with the brake system. When you drove to the dealer, did you feel anything changed with the brakes? With the brakes being "Shorted out", thankfully you didn't loose the brakes driving to work.

Ditto this. I think it would be good feedback to provide. I just went out and checked on mine from PowerTrays and it sits well above that connector.

I built my own and mounted the relays on top of the fuse box in a project box and the fuse panel is beside with plenty of room for running the wiring.

Thats a pretty nice setup you got there. Unfortunate issue to have.

Wait is that a VGA cable in there?

VGA cable provides the switching control for the 6x touch panel. The pic is during install. All touch controls are occupied and labelled now.
