So Its been a long process installing the stereo setup. Started with the Subaru tweeters and kicker door speakers. While I was in there, might as well do sound deadening. I made the doors into a sub of sort, and even had enough to do the rear wall and floor.

The rear vents were quite noisy so i ended up cutting foam pieces to tru to dampen some of the noise

Next I got the T9 android head unit. I can’t say how much I love this thing. Its us my favourite mod next to OVtune. It has carplay, streams and surfs the nets, plays movies and games and so much more. Bonus is that it pumps out 4x45w, identical to the kicker key amp, so i didnt need to get a separate amp for the door speakers. At $380 shipped, this is heads and shoulders above kenwood, pioneers and alpine decks

Next I built my own sub box, mainly cuz shipping to Canaduh sucks ass. I initially wanted put it behind the drivers rear seats but went with passenger-side as this would allow me to also mount the amp. Only problem was the rear window motor. The goal was to keep the plastic backing on the rear seat while allowing it to still fold flat and give the subwoofer a little space. I started with a template and went from there. Ended up with about 0.5 cubic feet

I used a 10” ts-sw2504 pioneer shallow sub paired with alpine-mrv 500 amp. It pairs perfectly pumping out 300w at 4 ohms.

Now all hooked up, im very happy. Its not window shattering, but i can feel the bass.
Total cost $1400 CAD including headunit speakers amp and sound deadening

First off, I’m not being rude by this comment lol. I can’t seem to make sense of your measurements on the template. Are those for depth, width, or height? Also, assuming they are inches.

Inches bud. You can make it as wide as you want. I think i went 33”. Its a 2D template(only width and height). Each measurememts is for that particular side since its all different. Total hieght is 12.75”. I didnt measure the angle sude as it wouldnt have been a round number, but im sure some trigonometry equations could figure it out
