    CDFW is working on a way to "cure" them. I forgot the exact figure but it's not been cheap so far. It usually cost about $4 to raise and stock a 12" trout. These fish will be worth well over $12 by the time the "fix" the problem. So, yeah, making them fertilizer and starting from scratch would be the best choice. That won't happen though.

    I hear some DFW big-wigs are gonna roll through the Black Rock hatchery this week or next and have a look. If they destroy the fishes, it'll take two to four years to get back on track. It's gonna be costly any way they choose to go.
