Northern Virginia Roll Call

Anyone interested in hitting some trails Thursday or Friday? Was thinking about making the drive to Peter's mill or maybe flagpole if I'm feeling like driving.

 

Are you just doing a day trip? I could possibly do Friday depending on what time you plan on leaving.

 

That was the plan. Don't really know when I would go. I'm off all day both of those days so I'm flexible.

I work both days, but a half day on Friday. I wouldn't be able to roll out until 1:30 or 2:00 pm. It'd make for a long day.

 

What’s happening Guy’s?.

I’d be in for Friday run to get outta the house (normal day off). I’ll be driving the heep, tho.

 

I don't HAVE to go dudes. I was just stating my situation. If y'all want to get out early, by all means do so.

 

I'm good with the afternoon. Im off Thursday-Sunday right now because of COVID stuff so I'm open to whatever. Sounds like we should make an afternoon trip

 

Groovy. My laziness says Peter's Mill so I don't have to switch my wheels out. And I'm guessing it might be faster, but I'd do Flagpole, too.

 

He's actually good. Funny as hell though.

 

Yeah Peter's mill sounds fine. I think it's like half the distance from me that flagpole is. I'll save flagpole for a weekend day or something where a group of us can be gone all day

Spousal unit teaches a basic motorcycle class on weekends. She took my truck to haul the EZ up and use the RhinoRack awning for shade and the fridge is a bonus for Gatorade and water.

One of her students asks “What do you think of Cascadia?” She is confused wondering WTF he is talking about. She finely realizes he means the tent. She shrugs and says it is fine. Then he wants to talk about Overlanding and Harleys. All of which she knows nothing about and couldn’t care less.

That will teach her to steal my truck.

I really enjoyed going south => north and want to do north => south for my next run.

I used to teach that class. I loved it, but don't have the time anymore.
