I think they killed it. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been thinking about reserving one

Same, technically two--WildTrak and Badlands. Canceled WildTrak (kept Badlands) as I think the 48K would climb way higher than that with all the stuff I wanted that the Badlands seemingly had stock.

The reservations lasted about five minutes. I got one in, but probably only because I could. I have no plans for a new vehicle for a while.

First Editions are all gone but the rest are open. I talked to the Ford dealer I reserved with (did it up in DE) and he said I was on of 5 different reservations allocated to him alone; he thinks they have 2-3 dozen there.

The 2.7 is a six cylinder. I don't really care about HP, but the torque increase is nice.

I mean the 4 cylinder claims to have about the same power as our trucks. I was considering the badlands I’d definitely do the Sasquatch which basically puts it as the wildtrak. Maybe the badlands with the 12” screen would be cheaper than the wildtrak without. But then I think you need the Sasquatch package on the badlands to get the lockers haha
Yeah that’s my thing, I don’t want another payment...

It is, but it doesn't come with a stick. The 4 is the only one with a stick. IIRC, the 4 has a touch less HP (14?) and about 50 more lb ft of torque than the 3.5.

My plan is 7MT Badlands + Sasquatch. The 4 is torquier with a touch less HP than our 3.5, so that kinda relieved any fears from me lol.

I'll be honest, the map for Taskers confused the hell out of me and I had no idea where I was "allowed" to go lol

Meh. The manual isn't that important to me anymore. I'm old and happy with a boring auto. I tried to relive my youth with a 6-speed Mustang GT, but that lost its luster as soon as my commute increased.

I did that 28 from Manassas to Sterling commute with a MT for years, I can do anything!!!

I just love manual transmissions, they add so much for me. It'll be pried out of my cold dead hands at this rate.

The new bronco does look sweet. Did make me a little sad that I just got my Tacoma last month, but I'll give it a few years and see how the Broncos turn out. If this truck gets close to being paid off and the Broncos are still going strong I'll heavily consider one.

I've done Woodbridge to Sterling, Woodbridge to Herndon, Woodbridge to McLean and Manassas to McLean. My shortest (and when I bought the Mustang was Manassas to Quantico. Now I'm on Manassas to Fort Meade. No manual for me.

My longest was Manassas to Sterling (I think?). I did Falls Church to Sterling, Landover to DC, and now my current commute is like 4 miles.

However, I go "home" to PA every 2 weeks so I'm on either 15/76 or 495/95 for a good bit of time.

Have done all of this with 2 Mustangs, a 370Z, and now the truck, all sticks. Definitely sucks in bumper to bumper but once you get free, I just love it lol.
