my Cherokee is straight 6..

had had an old volari with the SLANT 6

never had a 3 on the tree though that I personally drove. the '61 ford had it but it was never driven.

Used to take the foot dimmer and wire it to the coil as a kill switch

 

Does your Cherokee overheat?

My very first car had that I wired some AC landing lights on the front bumper of it using that switch.

That car was a rusted out 72 hell Camino

 

Not after redoing the cooling system. Went with a heavy duty 4 core radiator. But the 4.0 like to run. About 210 as it's normal.

But it is a fickle beast with its cooling.

 

Was always fun to hit the starter and gas pedal with the same foot and get some neck snapage going,,, since the engines of that period wouldn't do it by themselves very often.

An early start-stop system or an electrically enhanced takeoff.
