Exactly! The thing for me was I was at 28.2 or so for SR 4wd V6 access cab with SX pkg, mats, sill, running boards, flaps. Came out to 29K OTD. I don't care about alot of the tech stuff or the seat and wanted access cab with long bed as it's just wife and I and we have a mid size SUV for hauling people when needed, and price was important so it worked out great. Everyone has their priorities so you just have to go with that. If the value is there for the extra $ then it's an easy decision

 

@TRD-ED thats a lot of bling for 3K. but all showy stuff I don't care so much about.

I figured... I would pick my own aftermarket wheels and different running boards to make it my own if I was going to do all that.

 

The NY dealer I contacted last night replayed with a quote

 

Jerks. That dealership is hit or miss. Owned by Mariano Rivera of relief pitching fame. Try the one on CT I sent you. They have to help.

 

I think it's just they know what they have is scarce s they are looking to get all they can for them.

I have to get some work done, I will see what the CT one says later

 

I got another reply from the dealership in NY. I asked if that graphic I posted earlier was really the best offer they had.
Here is the reply:

2wd not a problem. Live in florida, do a lot of kayaking and fishing. Getting fed up with my old civic. Real question is, access cab or double cab....but i think access will suit my needs more. Wondering what I should pay for that truck

 

What does the Blue Book say? Have you looked? You are right, a 2WD will do everything you need and then some ...

I have! In fact it doesnt list a sr5 access with a v6...only the trd models. Weird.

 

Considering the shortage, that's not a terrible price and its a SR5 . I got a 2019 SR same configuration (v6 access cab) last year as this one for 23.1 which worked out to 23.5 otd . It didn't have interval wipers, keyless, fogs or a power seat. Was only 1200 miles though. The access cab and 2wd are in your favor, since most folks want 4wd dbl cab.

 

$377,704.00 mark up. Someone's retiring after this deal.

 

Actually, he isn't cause nobody will buy it at that price so he will have to work even longer lol
