    We have owned our house for 6 years and the value has gone up around $80,000. I don’t mind that but the taxes and insurance is crazy. $2400 a year for taxes and $2400 a year insurance. Vehicle and boat taxes are stupid high here too.

    Yep, peaced out of Bozeman 1 1/2 months ago. Our lease was up and couldn’t find a cheap place to live with a single income. Little did I know rent is almost just as bad in Charlotte. Luckily we found a deal on a house.

    We were stupid and didn’t buy 2 years ago in Bozeman. But at the time we didn’t want to spend $330k on a house on only 1/2 acre in a HOA neighborhood. Same house now is over $400k
