For anyone else looking to debadge...I used goo gone and elbow grease for almost an hour and while it did a fairly good job getting the bulk off the sticky off, there was still a shadow of the lettering left that would not come off. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol and one swipe took off the remainder of the goo. Thinking I could have saved my elbow if I had started with the alcohol.

 

I used Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover. It was a miracle. Stickers came of first and the goo came off with one spray, a wait and a wipe. Don't forget to wash and put a little wax on there when you are done.

 

what's with all of the license plate blurring?

 

I think the Tacoma's lines are accentuated without any badging or decals.

 

Took the V6 off right after I purchased the truck but just got around to taking off the Tacoma door emblems. Don’t know why I waited so long as I think it looks sooo much better without them.

 

One thing’s for certain: if the Tacoma didn’t come with a door badge, fellas would be buying them off Etsy and stickin’ ‘em on there.

I think people are worried you will hack into the DMV mainframe and find their homes and steal their guns I’ve always wondered this myself. Definitely don’t want anyone seeing how many points I have on my driving record

Ok, so do they blur their license plate while they are driving? People can get their plate info when they park at Walmart. Lol
