Great minds think alike, GF wants a 4Runner as soon as it was unveiled i tried to get her on the bronco train. She thinks the 4Runner is better looking though :annoyed:

Plus all the aftermarket support for 2.3 and 2.7.

Its nice looking and full of features but ill wait to see what the true pricing is. The 30k doesnt get you much..just the 2 door. Plus a soft top only so youll be paying extra for the hard top. But definitely sounds like the guys who designed it are guys who actually would buy one and use it.

    Only 3500lb towing is disappointing

Same towing capacity as a jeep though. The price for a base bronco is almost the exact same as a base 4x4 JL (and both have soft tops). Basically just competing with the JL/JLU and stealing market share from the instaoverlanders kitting out their tacomas and 4runners.

The financials seem to make sense, too - their pricing isn't out of line with others in the market. I was looking at the BadLands edition for something like 43 to start? It's better equipped than my wife's 4runner TRD ORP at about the same price. I have to agree, it seems like they got it right.

Duuuuuuude! That’s huge! You’re gonna be so happy not dealing with that bullshit anymore. Now for no heavy bending, lifting or twisting for six months.

At least 6 months... REI is treating me pretty good so it’ll be stress free for the most part. I’ll try not to stock up on truck parts.

For real, the easier you take it until it's time for rehab, will pay dividends later in life. But I support the recreational abuse of the liver in the meantime

Haha yeah I know, I am eager to get back to 100% but I will take my time and follow docs orders so I don’t jack anything up. Last thing I want to do is experience this all over.

Waiting on some parts to finish the engine replacement on the purple one, tuned up and test drove the yellow one. The GF is on board with a jetski purchase
