That’s a pretty ugly tear out.

if you know someone with a lathe, I’d use a hole saw to cut out a 1” to 1.5” diameter hole to get clean edges and have the friend machine a slightly oversized (a few thousands is enough) plug with a 1/8” thick flange and a center hole tapped to correct threads. Tap it in using the flange as a stop an means to keep it perpendicular. Then get someone to run a weld bead around the flange. The rear of your skid plate will sit an 1/8” lower but doubt if anyone will notice.

 

It's one long piece crossmember that supports the mount for the LCA's. Looks like a royal PITA to remove.

WeatherTech I believe are lifetime. My buddy had the same "curling" issue, he called them and they sent new ones to him. Might be worth a call

I've got WeatherTech liners in mine, and they're curling up all over the place. I put Husky liners in @OneGiraffe's Mall Crawler and I like them a lot more!

 

I had Husky liners in my 4Runner and really liked them.

 

If WT did that, screw leaving them in the sun!

I just sold a home gym. Had LOTS of interest almost immediately after posting it. Totally should have listed it for more.

 

oh ya most my stuff was 5-7 week lead times too. Hated waiting so long but finally my weights are delivering tomorrow.




that way i can still pull cars in when needed. Next up some rubber garage floors. Glad i know a flooring guy
